My great-aunt flew with a B-25 squadron during WW-II. A courageous woman, she flew on every mission of that battle-scarred airplane, until it was decommissioned. They were a lucky crew, in a lucky plane, never to be shot down over the skies of Italy, Germany and France.
She was a pin-up, and graced one of the B-25s as nose art.
